COVID-19 FAQ
The Seven Oaks Swim Team kindly asks for patience, flexibility, and understanding this year as we work together to navigate the ever-changing environment. We hope to provide our kids with as many normal experiences as possible. To accomplish this we expect everyone to follow all rules for the safety of our swimmers, coaches, and their families.
By agreeing to be part of the Seven Oaks Swim Team as a coach, athlete, spectator, or any other role, you are voluntarily attending and assuming the risk of exposure to COVID-19. Attendees also release the parent committee, coaches, Seven Oaks, and the facility of all liability claims related to the COVID-19 virus.
The abuse of the following protocols will result in removal from the team. There is a zero-tolerance policy for putting the health of others at risk. By attending any events, including but not limited to meets, practices, etc., participants assume risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
No one attending practice or meets should:
- Be awaiting results of a COVID-19 test.
- Have experienced symptoms in the past 24 hours.
- Been in close contact with another person that has tested positive for COVID-19 10 (ten) days before practice OR a swim meet. If close contact (within 6 feet for a cumulative time of 15 minutes) with somebody with COVID-19 is realized, then individuals must quarantine for a minimum of ten days after last known exposure before rejoining team activities and the Team Director must be notified.
- If anyone in your household is sick or awaiting COVID-19 test results, swimmers are not allowed at practice or meets until the swimmer receives a negative COVID-19 test.
